VW compatible socket connection Kit T5.1 

 

PLEASE NOTE: different to the picture  instead of the connector the connecting end will have 2 x insulated 4.8 connectors not the plastic connector.  

VW compatible  socket connection Kit for USB/ Cigarette-Sockets and 12v power sockets 

This Loom allows you to use the existing VW cigarette-socket connector found in a number of the T5.1 models. Please note this is to connect/replace the existing socket found in the original dash insert which the Cuppy will replace. 

This connector allows a plug and plays option for a number of our chargers 

The kit consists of 1.5mm² (21A) positive and negative cables sheathed in heat-resistant, protective PVC sleeving and a 20mm glass fuse holder fitted with a 10A replaceable fuse.  VW comparable connector connections and the socket connections are 2 x 6.3mm fully insulated push-on female blade terminals.

Plug and play

This is an essential plug and play adapter if you are replacing the cigarette plug with a USB when using a T5 Cuppy.

I ordered a QC3.0 & Type C USB charger, (and the associated connection kit). It is a really nice unit - good quality materials, and the removable rubber cover over the sockets is a nice touch. The item shipped swiftly and arrived within a couple of days. Good value for money - recommended.
